Transformation Routine

Hi all,

From R/3 we get data for 0CALMONTH and it is filled.

Now, how can we populate 0CALQUARTER from 0CALMONTH in Transformation ?

Hi,

If you map them directly, using the time distribution property of BW you can automatically populate 0CALQUAR value from 0CALMONTH

Hi,

Procedure

1. You are in the rule details. Select the rule type Time Update.

2. Select a time characteristic in the InfoObject Assignment field in the Source Fields of Rule area.

3. Choose Transfer Values.

Example

In your transformation, you want to assign the 0CALDAY field of the DataSource to the 0CALQUARTER InfoObject in your target. To do so, you assign the 0CALDAY InfoObject to the 0CALQUARTER field in the rule details so that the properties of the InfoObject can be read.
