Importing Objects from BO XI r2 to BO XI 3.0 using SDK

Is there a way to import objects from BOXI r2 to BOXI 3.0 using BOXI 3.0 Java SDK? Another similar problem is - I have an existing BOXI r2 BIAR file which I would like to import to BOXI 3.0 using Java SDK. How shall I do it?

I was able to import BIAR files from BOXI r2 to BOXIr2 using Java SDK. Any help on this will be highly appreciated.

The fully supported way of importing BusinessObjects Enterprise XI Release 2 BIAR files to XI 3.0 is using the XI 3.0 Import Wizard.

The XI 3.0 biar engine available in the SDK is only for XI 3.x

Use the Migration Wizard when installing XI R3, it has all the features to migrate an older system to R3.
