RE workflow type is not showing up in the Request type list in AE

Hi,

I had appended the AE_init_append_data_RE.xml file in the Configuration->Initial System Data.

Even after appending this file , the RE workflow type is not showing up in the AE Request type list.

Please guide me.

Hello Hima,

Have you maintained the entries in AE for Config>Misceleneous>Workflow types for RE? Please check the same and maintain them and try again.

Thats strange!!

Try another appand for the same file and refreshing/restarting your server again. This may get you the Field for RE.

Hi All,

Thanks for ur inputs. It is working now. I could see all the workflow types after appending the two files

1. AE_init_ append_data_RE.xml

2. AE_init_ append_data_CC.xml

I have created

1. Initator with workflow type RE using Request type and priority -RE_HIGH as attributes

2. CAD by giving webservice URL.

3. Configured workflow with one stage.

Now, if I process a request in RE I am getting an error "ERROR IN CREATING REQUEST". What may be the problem..? I am happy to receive your suggestions.

Thanks

That can have many reasons - have you done this before?

Hima-

You have to define the AE workflow webservice in the Miscellaneous tab in RE. You can obtain that from the Web Services Navigator. It should be:

http://<server>:<port>/AEWFRequestSubmissionService_5_2/Config1?wsdl&style=document

Now I am able to create the request successfully. I can see the request in AE. But, when I click on the request its throwing an error "Cannot find or initilize JSP instance" .

Have you uploaded the AE_INIT_CLEAN_AND_INSERT_DATA.

xml too? (with option "clean and insert")

Then you need to go to "Miscellaneous" and activate the workflow types.
