Hello Rob,

During reporting Characteristic will read the data from the base InfoCube/ODS (transactional data) where the Nav attribute will read the data from the base master data table.

Hi,

Absolutely no diff. between Characteristc and Nav. Attribute in a multiprovider.

U use Nav. Attribute to enable that particulat attribute for navigation purpose in Reporting like Filter condition on the nav. attribute,

Drill down,.....
