I am a basis consultant of a company and i have to connect my SAP server from my home or i have to do some thing that some of the boss of our company who is out of station can connect to sap directly by clicking on GUI installed on his laptop.
Kindly tell me the process of doing this.

Hi,
To access SAP from reote location:
First, install SAP GUI on to your PC or LAP-TOP.
Once GUI get installed, Click: New Item on to SAP Logon screen.
Now, Click: USer Specified System.
Here Maintain following entries:
Connection type : Custom Application Server
Description: As Desired (Development, Quality or Production Client)
Application Server: Consult Local/ Network Admin
System Number:
System ID:
SAp Router String: Consult Local/ Network Admin
Then, go next and next.
Now, In Screen: SAP Logon, You will find the Client. Double click on the Description, and use Login credentials to logon.

an internet connection and also router needs to be up.
