How to manage plants and storage locations under WM explain?

Hi Gurus,

I have quick question regarding implementation of WM from IM. We have about 5 storage locations under one plant A and three storage location under another plant B in the current IM environment

we are planning to merge all the plants and storage location is it possible, how it is please explain?

Hi

Yes you can manage N number of plants and its storage locations in one warehouse

In your example you think you may have like below given

Plant A, it is having five storage locations 0001, 0002, 0003, 0004, 0005.

And also you have Plant B; it is having three storage locations 0006, 0007, 0008

You can configure at Path: SPRO>Assignment>Logistics Execution-->Assign Warehouse number to plant/storage location

Here you can assign the Plant and storage locations to one warehouse, you may have ware house only one- 001

Plant A 0001 001

Plant A 0002 001

Plant A 0003 001

Plant A 0004 001

Plant A 0005 001

Plant B 0006 001

Plant B 0007 001

Plant B 0008 001

This is the main interface between IM and WM
