selmode for CL_GUI_ALV_GRID

Hi,

is there any way of having an alv-grid without the possibility of marking rows or cells? I do not want to have that mark-column on the left side. The component selmode in the layoutstructure does not offer a non-selection choice.

i know these thread, but i had the hope that i can completly switch off the selection possibility, espacially for rows. So, it seems i have to live with that...
