Condition Type

Hii All

We have a customized condition type "ZTAX" which gets determined by

Country

Destination Country

Customer Tax classification

Material Tax Classification

All these things are maintained in condition records but still in pricing analysis it shows that material tax classication doesnt exist.

I have checked the material tax classification in MM03 but it exists out there.

Can any one tell how can find out the reason of this error.

Hi,

Check the plant is getting determined at item level.

Hi Gaurav,

Just check whether the destination country of ship-to-party in delivery whether it has been changed. If so then check whether any condition record is maintained with that destination country or not. I've got similar incident earlier.

I have checked the material master, condition record, validity V/07, V/06. But all seems to be fine.

CAn this error be because of any user exit.

Hi,

Check the table MLAN.Put material and country and execute it.So that you can know what type of taxes are you maintained for materila and customer.

Hi there,

Check the validity periods of ZTAX.

Check in VK13, if you have maintained the same tax classification for customer & material in the condition record.

I could see only this reason behind the error.

Hi,

I suppose, you have maintained Condition Records in VK11/ VK12 for Condition Type: ZTAX

Before that, I am supposing that you have also configured Condition Type in

T. Code: V/06, properly.

Now, in T. Code: VK11/ 12

The Tax Class. Material that you have entered; check whether the same has ben maintained in the Material Master?

If yes, Check whether the Material/ Customer and Condition Record are maintained for the Same Sales Organization?

Also, Check Release Status and Validity Period?

Hii All

I have checked all the settings mentioned by you all and it all seems fine.

This condition type was working fine a month before and condition value was getting picked up correctly.

I wonder what setting must have got changed in this time

Hi,

Go to: VK12/ 13

Key-in:

Condition Type: ZTAX

Maintain entries in Fields:

Sales Org.:

Tax Class1-Cust

Tax Class Material

and F8 (Execute).

Now check the Validity From and Validity To for the Condition Records.

Maintain Validity To as 31.12.9999

1. Please check for the entries in T. Code: OVK1

2. Check your Pricing Procedure, whether Condition type is included or not. And,

3. Check T. Code: OBBG, forAssign Country --> Calculation Procedure

Hi there,

In the SO, select the item & press F8. It will take you to material master of that item. Check the material tax classification there. there may be many views of material masters maintained. You might be checking only 1 view.

Check the country for which the tax classification is maintained in sales org 1. Maintain the same country in condition records.

Hi,

Try this

Go to V/07, select the condition type ZTAX , see the access sequence

in V/06 for ZTAX, you should have maintained this access sequence

and maintain the table for which you should maintain the tax code for the combination of

Country

Destination Country

Customer Tax classification

Material Tax Classification

and check again.

3.Deletion flg is set for condition record?

Dear Gaurav,

Please chek have you maintained condition record for the same material tax clasiffication which is exist in the material master.

If not then maintain condition record for the same tax classfication which is maintaining in the material master then try.
