Functional area not active

Dear all,

When we are creating a purchase requisition (PR) using t-code ME51N and upon saving we are getting error " Functional area not active". However, we have not activated any functional area setting.For your information all these days it was working fine and suddenly we are hit with this error.Please advice.

It Seems that Functional Area is Related to Funds Management Area. Please Communicate with your Finance persons and go thrut he below link:
