Difference Between Web Intelligence and Desktop Intelligence in BO XI R2

Hi,

I would like to find out if anyone knows what's the significant difference between using the Web Intelligence and Desktop Intelligence

As my company is planning to switch over from Deski to Webi, hence would like to assess the impact of the switch

the major difference that you can access the webintelligence from anywhere since its a web-based application included in the infoview, which give the uses the ability to connect and create their reports anywhere anytime, but the DesKi is restricted to the machine installed at and it should be inside the same network the server installed at,

also Webi has many options which not exist in Deski , like extra number of charts.

Thanks for the update.

Do you happen to know on their functionality difference as well? eg. Deski can use slice and dice whereas Webi is unable to perform this function?

Or is there any documentation somewhere that i can read up?
