date on project tiggered by sales order

Dear experts,

when project is triggered by sales order, my client requests the P/O date in the S/O be the start date of the project, and the req delivery date be the finish date of the project. they need the start and finish date be filled in automatically when the project is created.

i want to know if it is possible to do so?

i did some trials and found the project finish date is relevant to S/O req delivery date and the material master data.

you have two choices for this - either use assembly processing for this or substitution with exit
