EDM profile header

hi friends

i have got an issue in profile creation in edm

when i tried to create profile header t code eedm06 i selected the interval length as price but its asking for unit of measurement..actually it must ask only for currency..

but its asking for both currency and unit of measurement

can any 1 help me with this????

Hai Prince,

Initially try with Quant profile or demand profile

Hi Prince,

price is nothing but amount per unit of consumption ( or unit of measure we are using for meter read ).

MRP for e.g. in a product is 100RS/ per unit.

in the same way in electrcity it can be 1RS/Kwh.

Hence u need to provide Unit of measurement ( for the meter read ) and the amount ( in currency) which you need to apply on this meter read ( uom ) to be further used during billing.

valuable answers.u r right..but am in edm and according to the iut that it says

"if price enter currency"

"if not enter unit of measurement"

u r absolutely perfect from billing point of view..but i dnt y that particular field in profile header creation is not accpeting kwh even if i give ..

any ways lets solve it soon.

It will ask for both unit of measurement for meter reading as well as the currency if you choose PV category as PRICE. If you choose any other PV category, it will not ask for currency. You always have to give the UOM for MR. It should have accepted kwh.

iam getting the following error when i tried to map it with profile value price

the error ir displayed below

You tried to allocate the unit of measurement KWH to a profile with the division electricity and the profile value category PRICE. This allocation is not valid because either the unit of measurement is not maintained in Customizing, or this combination is invalid

atlast the error has been solved.for this error u need to assign the energy and price in sproedmprofile managementdefine units of menasurment

here v need to maintain the diviosn and profile value category with kwh

in my case it was

electricity price and energy was the data entered in that screen

and it worked
