Since you are arthorized to move request to PRD than only you will be able to do.

sum 1 told me 2 chk any bgd job runnig while transporting 2 prod......

if ther r bgd jobs ...........then dont transport?????//

but i did dis n also done succesfully.........

Hi Jiten,

Even though background jobs will be running you can perform the transport to production.

The person may said that check if background workprocess is available to do the transport because in background Job RDDIMPDP and other RDD* jobs will run to complete the transport steps.

If the transport gone file then no issues.Check for the return code for the transport.

Hi Jiten,

You can check transport log as below

Execute t-code stms_import

select the transport

Click on log on application tool bar.

i'm not asking 4 chking log............my ques is hw 2 chk RDD* as u wrote b4........

Hi Jiten,

At the time of transport check that background workprocess are free to rin the jobs.That you can check in t-code sm50.

If all background wp are busy then your transpoer will hang.

If you want to see the RDDIMPDP job then check it in t-code sm37.This job will be at release status.
