Negative stock concept

Dear Guru's

At one of my clients site due to there some busy sytem they require some more time to update the stock in the system. Due to this despite completion of production they could not dispatch/issue material to customer. Hence they want to know that system should allow them to issue material for dispatch/issue to customer though there is no stock available in the system. After completing planned order(REM scenario) then that stock should be adjusted against earlier dispatch/issue.

I think negative stock funda should work here.

hi,

I think you are correct..

but need to put on the indicator for ALLOW NEGATIVE STOCKS for the Material and in the warehouse...

To do this, choose Logistics Execution --> Warehouse Management-> Interfaces-> Inventory Management --> Allow Negative Stocks in Interim Storage Types --> Allow negative stock for each storage type in the Implementation Guide (IMG).

When the allow negative stock indicator is set, the system lets you post negative quants to the corresponding storage type.
