Hi,
Inside the sub-section, there's a another sub-report. I've ticked the option to suppress when it's blank. But the blank section (it occupies an area) is still there for nothing.

As I understand you want to suppress the blank section in which you have inserted sub report.
Try this.
1)Right Click Subreport |Select Formate subreport.
2)In common tab check the option "Suppress".
3)Click on Ok.
4)Right click section where you have inserted the subreport|Select the "Suppress".

To suppress a blank subreport, select the 'Suppress Blank Subreport' check box then shrink the blank section.
To suppress a section that contains a blank subreport, select the 'Suppress Blank Section' check box.
How to Suppress a Blank Subreport and then Suppress the Section

1. Right-click the subreport object and select 'Format Subreport'.
2. In the Format Editor dialog box, click the Subreport tab.
3. Select the 'Suppress Blank Subreport' check box.
4. Click 'OK' to exit the Format Editor dialog box.
5. Right-click the section containing the subreport and select 'Section Expert'.
6. In the Section Expert dialog box, select the 'Suppress Blank Section' check box.
7. Click 'OK' to exit the Section Expert dialog box.
Upon selecting the 'Suppress Blank Subreport' and 'Suppress Blank Section' check boxes, the subreport and section will not display on the main report when no data is contained in the subreport.
