Update SAP Business Objects

Hi All,

I'm just beginner for development with SAP SDK . I've already created an add-on to retrieve data and write to text file. But now I want to update certain Business objects such as Payments, Invoices etc.

Would you please explain how to do that using sample Code.

As ex:

Currently I'm doing for update Payment Reference field in Invoice object is,

1.Create Document object oDocument

2. Initialize to SAPbobsCom.boObjectTypes.oInvoices

3.oDocument.CardCode = "265";

4.oDocument.PaymentRefernce = "SomeID";

//Want to set SomeID to PaymentRefernce Filed where Cardcode= //256

5.oDocument.update();

Is this the Correct way to update any object???

Thank you.

The best way to know is to do the same thinig with the UI. Just try to update the field using normal B1 screen UI. And if ur able to do that theu u can do that with DI too.

And Check the DI API help file which lists all the DI Objects and the properties and their attributes.(Read Only or not.). It will be very helpful for u.

Hope it helps.
