Planned Order type in MRP

Hi All,

I have query regarding order type for planned order generated after MRP Run.

For EX in MTO MRP run LA order is generated , IN REM order typpe is PE.

Where is the setting relating Order type with different scenarios.

I have chked in planned order profile in IMG but couldn't find any link.

HI,

Order profiles are maintained in SPRO > Production > MRP > Procurement Proposals > Planned Order > Define order profile

Then check in OPU5. Here you maintain the relation between plant and order profile

The profiles are customised only.

It will not refer strategy directly.

It will refer account assignment category.this will inturn assigned requirement type & then to strategy.

Hi,

I have checked for the same but couldn't find order type KD.

In MTO scenario i have carried out MRP run & planned order type KD is generated.

For this planned order conversion tick is not set automatically. I have to change Planned order & then convert it to Production order by ticking conversion indicator.

How this conversion parateters are decided for corrosponding order type?

As for LA this indicator is set automaticlly but in KD it is not set.

Hi,

Goto SPROProductionMRPProcurement ProposalsPlanned OrdersDefine Order Profile slect KD,Object1 planned order and check, order type should be KD.

What is the planning strategy you are using?

In some strategies, system will generated Non convertible planned orders for PIRs and till the time it receives sales order you cannot convert them.

You can set planned order with order type LA by going to transaction code OPPQ -

> enter plant no -

> Planning run tab -

> Param: detailed sched. -

> here maintain order type

Hi,

In profile i have maintained KD with account assignment group.

I am using strategy 20.

I am running MRP based on sales order.

Each time user has to convert plaaned order to Production order by adding tick in planned order.

How conversion settings are defined.

In plant parameters i have maintained conversion for planned orders.

Thanks for your great rewards,

For MTO strategy20 you need to run MRP in MD50 and then MD02 for sales order then check in MD04.

Or,

Cretaion of planned order md11, in this screen conversion indicator is there, you have to activate the indicator. Press F1 and read it carefully.
