Application error occurred during the request procession

I have Visual Composer NY installed. I have been getting the following error since a long time now, and had even posted a thread on this forum (I did get some replies, thanks, but I still face the same problem no matter what I do)

I get the following error when I try to visit the url for portal ( http://localhost:54800/irj/portal 😞

"Application error occurred during the request procession."

Details: "The WebApplicationException log ID is

In the application server's log file I see the following entry:

Hi Makarand,

According to the Release Notes for VC ( SAP Note 716752), you should not use locahost in Portal Address as it is being used by VC Server for communicating with Portal Server.
