uploading distribution list with LSMW

hello

how can i upload a distribution list (transaction CVI1 and CVI2) with lsmw?

i tried recording but it does not work as the list is long and there is no way to tell the recording to place the cursor on the first empty recipient field.

is there a direct input object? or a bapi? or any other idea??

Hi,

You can successfully load the distribution lists by using FM: CVV1_RELATION_UPDATE.

No BAPI exists for this tx: CVI1.

thank you for the tip

in fact i can see that this function modules pool is connected to the transaction but i do not seem to manage to get the recipient names in the list;

what am i missing?

thanks: i have checked already and not found any object that is why i asked if mayeb there is some i do not know about;

same goes for bapi.

bdc: i know abap but how does bdc get into this picture?

Hello

You can check with Standard objects for Direct input method for distribution list at "Maintain Object Attributes" scren of LSMW.

As i never tried the recording for Distribution method , i am not sure about it.

As final option you can try with BDC, Please check with ABAP`rs
