How can I refresh the cache for a KM Room?

Former Member

Hi there,

I would like to know how to refresh the cache for a KM Room.

We have some KM rooms where we make changes occasionally and we would like those changes to show up right away for the end users. If the content is cached then we have to restart the server node in order for the end user to see the new changes.

Specifically, our current issue is this: We launched a new room in Production. There were a few permissions missing so the first few people to try the room got an error. It turns out that these people all were logged into Server node 1. Then we made the permission changes. Subsequent user's logged on to Server node 2 and got the room content displayed successfully. Now, anyone who gets logged into node 1 cannot see the room but anyone who gets logged into node 2 can see the room.

So, can I safely refresh the cache for that room so that everyone can see the room?

Thanks so much for any help!

Regards,

Robin.

Thanks Koti,

We tried that but it didn't seem to work. I did only clear the cache for the items I felt were impacted.

What's the easiest way to clear the Portal Cache in Production?

Thanks,

Robin
