please explain about real time movement types used in MM and its account determination

how can a movement type be assign to auto account determination (transaction please)

When you enter a goods movement in the system, you must enter a movement type to differentiate between the various goods movements. A movement type is a three-digit identification key for a goods movement. The following table contains examples of movement types.

Control Functions of the Movement Type

The movement type has important control functions in Inventory Management.

For example, the movement type plays an important role in

updating of quantity fields

updating of stock and consumption accounts

determining which fields are displayed during entry of a document in the system

For Account Determination 5 major characters are as follow:

1.Chart of Account,

2.Valuation Class,

3.Transaction Event Key,

4.Valuation Grouping Code,

5.Account Grouping Code/Account Modifier.

You can Configure Automatic Account Determination with T.Codes & Steps are are as follow:

1.OMSK: valuation Class with Account category reference,

2.OMWM: Active Valuation Grouping Code,

3.OMWN: Active Movement type( types) with G/L account,

4.OMWD: Active Valuation Area,

5.OMWB: Active Chart of account,Valuation Grouping Code,Account Grouping Code,Valuation Class and G/L acocounts

Note:

In Account Determination, respective G/L accounts assigned to your chart of account,relevant to business transactions keys(Example:BSX,PRD,FRE,GBB),Account modifier(Example:BSA,VBR) and Valaution Calsss.If all are assigned then you would not face any problems during your posting of GR,IR etc..........

Account category reference also play a role

this can be seen in

automatic account determination process

any movement type becomes a real time movement type if you post the movement when it ocurs.

In the movement (OMJJ) you have a Transaction/event key for account determination and an account modifier.

These 2 can be used when setting up the automatic account determination in OMWB
