HI All

i have a query in formatting the smart form.

i need to display a payslip.

i gave all the values in the main area of the table in main window. so if i select a particular format for the table it appiles for all the line type in the table.so its displaying just like a noraml table but i want only those borders for some of the line types and not for all .

Even i tried with the smart style to display it still not possible to chose format for a line type.

is there any options to create a box as like in sap script ?

Please Help me to go ahead ..

Thanks in advance

Hi rukmani,

Create 3 line types :

header ---> line type1

main area-->line type2

footer--->line type3

For the header line type1 select the linetype and give the outer frame.

For the mainarea line type2 select the linetype and give the upperframe.

For the footer line type3 select the linetype and give the lower frame

Hi rukmani,

You can display different borders for the line types .In your table click on select pattern as per your requirement.

Hi Sravanthi

Thanks a lot..

But still when i select a pattern for a line type its getting applied to the whole table itself and not for the particular line type..

actually i need to dispaly the Payslip for a Emp.

so i created a main window ->table ->row types for all the details in the pay slip

The payslip shud contain The Header part,Emp Name,Emp details like PB etc, Earnigs and dedcutions, total for earinigs and deductions, Infomation part,footer.

so i created a table line for all in the main area of the table.

if i select a pattern which is available in the pattern its giving lines below and above for each line type which i dont want

I want the pattern to be applied for a particular Line type only.

Please help me to go ahead...

Thanks in Advance
