change description of the data element

I need change the description of data element AD_CITY3 (field ADRC-HOME_CITY). Is possible or this is a work to SD/MM?

yes it's quite possible.

What is the reason for changing this?if it impact only 1-2 object than really this is not suggested to change data element cause it may be used by some other object also!

Yes. It is possible.

Go to T-Code CMOD.

Menu path: GOTO --> Text Enhancment --> Keywords --> Change.

There give your data element name AD_CITY3 and do the change.

Note that it is login-language specific.
