Problem with Adjusting the domain length

Hi All,

I have a domain ZTEXT of length 30 characters in a Ztable ZMYTABLE (no Table maintenance generator).

I had to change the length of the domain ZTEXT to 40 characters. I adjusted the database using SE14. Now I can enter a value into the ZTEXT in the ztable upto 40 characters using SE11 and SE16. However it doesnot allow me to enter 40 characters in SE16N. In SE16N I can enter the value of ZTEXT

only 30 characters.please help..

Hi...

Check if TMG, You need to delete that and re-create. Then will be comfortable with your new structure of table.

Hi ,

In domain maintenance screen find out all the oplaces where the domain is used and adjust changes to all places where the domain is used.

Adjust the database changes.

if you have maintained ant Table maintenance generator delete it and create it again.
