ABAP Proxy Configuration Problem

Former Member

Hi,

I´m configuring an ABAP proxy according to the SDN Blog:

The problem is when I create an HTTP connection with the type H, I can not enter the Path Prefix: /sap/XI/engine/?type=entry.

The SAP System showed a waring message "Query String not allowed".

How could I solve this problem?

Thanks a lot in advance!

Xiang

Hii

Its a warning only.

Once you put the string hit the enter/return key.

After that go ahead and save it.

When u got this message Query String Not allowed means Just Press Enter and SAVE it.

This not any Error message Just Info only

Hi ViJaYaNt JhA ,

sorry to disturb you again. I've saved this Destination and tried to test the connection. It returned an HTTP 404 not found error.

If I remove the prafix, the connection test is ok. Do you know why?

Thanks a lot in advance!

Hi Carlos,

The prafix is:

/sap/XI/engine/?type=entry

Hi Xiang,

It is wrong,

Delete the last slash.

Wrong: /sap/XI/engine/?type=entry

Right: /sap/XI/engine?type=entry

Hi,

The service no. is wrong.

It is the http port: 8XXX

You can see it in TC SMICM > go to> services
