Hello
In MB1B , while Transfer posting material the system is asking the enter valuation Class/Batch. There is option of enter * in this field.
But i want to make the * filed mandatory for all users then how to do this? I have check the parameter ID CHA and it is not worked
Plz guide me how to make * mandatory?

Dear SAPMAN,
Please follow follwoing steps :
Go TO -->SPRO --> MM -->Inventory Management and Physical Inventory --> Goods Issue / Transfer Postings --> Define Screen Layout -- > select you MVT Type --> double click on Transfer Postings
Here as per your requirement select field as required field.

Hi,
Try doing this for the movement type,
for eg. in movement type 311 you can make the following fields mandatory
UMBAR Valuation Type Trfr Pstg
UMCHA Batch Trfr Pstg
This will give a better control and also not much of a config required.

Hi,
Please take the help of ABAPer,
Go to program SAPMM07M -- Ensure the program is relevant.
Give a value * to the field "MSEG-CHARGE". and make the line in the program hard coded.
From then system will automatically picks * for batch value.
Please make sure this change will not affect any other rprocesses before changing.
