Unit Conversion factor

Stock keeping unit of a material is EA & Order Unit is TO. PO is created with unit TO. Conversion factor maintained in Mat. Master & Purch Info Record. While creating GR, system is considering correct conversion factor(TO=EA).

After few days conversion factor is changed in mat master & info record. Its considering the conversion factor which was at the time of creation of PO. Now if we go for GR with unit TO, system is not considering new conversion factor. It's considering the same conversion factor which was at the time of PO creation. Please tell me anything to do to make system to consider new conversion factor.

NOTE: If we go for new item in the same PO or for totally new PO and then make GR, its considering new conversion factor.

Hi Nilesh,

It is not possible to make GR with new conversion factor. System will take the conversion factor from PO only, you are correct that you have to add new line item in PO / create new PO with short-close of existing PO.

Hi,

As u said is right, since 1st time wn u created it has created auto info where it stores all data,

when u r doing next time the price may be different, it will create a new info record so there will b no problem.
