Uploading data in OM

Hello Gurus,

Is there a standard way of uploading data in OM for the following? If not standard, then do we have to do it though lsmw using PP01?

1) Upload Cost centre against org units

2) Upload Tasks against positions

3) Assigning chief positions to org units.

No I donu2019t think there is standard program ... You need to upload via t-code "PP02" . I did it by writing BDC .

Make sure you use PP02 and not PP01. The first lets you run the batch input in backround - the second will not accept that. Consider LSMW.

Hi. You can upload data

with Scat or secatt

if you version is lesser tha 5.0 the use Scatt for 5.0 nad above use secatt

Hi,

Instead of going for LSMW....u can use report programming and use the FM

RH_OBJECT_CREATE for creation of Object ID and

RH_RELATION_MAINTAIN for maintaing relationships...

These FM's will be simpler rather than using BDC or LSMW..

What is the value to be passed to the FM RH_OBJECT_CREATE parameter EXT_NUMBER.

And for the FM RH_RELATION_MAINTAIN parameters ACT_FCODE ACT_OBJID

You need to create BDC or LSMW for that using Tcode PO13

To Upload data in OM Infotypes, you can make best use of Transaction OODT - Legacy Data Transfer.

Other way to read this transaction is SE38 and then Program name RHALDT00.
