HI ALL

when the material is sent for repair wherein the party also charge excise duty in addition to repair charges.

SO HOW TO ADJUST ADDITIONAL EXCISE IN CASE OF SERVICE PO,GR AND MIRO.

As per my view it is not the scenario of simple service order if the vendor is charging any excise duty on the service provided..though he can charge the service tax on the service offered

As per law Excise duty can only be charged on value addition on the material...
