Bex Selection Screen not visible

Hello Gurus,

I have a strange issue .When I execute any Bex query in analyzer the selection screen doesn't appear at all .(Query do have user entry variables).Please let me know if anybody has any idea on this .

Gautam,

I had a similar problem which was caused by missing authorization. I forget which auth object was missing but you can find out by running RSRT and then running the query there. Then use t-code SU53 to get the missing auth.

You exactly pointed out the error.The authorization for Obj.'S_BDS_D BC-SRV-KPR-BDS :Authorization for accessing documents' was misisng.

Hi,

it may also be caused by personalization of the variables. Delete the personalization and try again.

hi,

If you are using web template ( WAD ), check the option under Behavious -> Display variable screen for Web Template parameter of which restrict the initial screen from displaying to the user.
