You have to go through the seimens books for MM.

Seacrh for MM books and readthem once and you will get a outline of MM concepts.

Dear,

To gain knowledge in SAP Material Management, I suggest

1. SAP manuals

2. Regular practice on system with different scenarios (if possible involve on real work based).

3. Better prior real time experience / knowledge of Procurement, Logistics, Inventory Management.

Difenitely group study, discussions, practices give results better than lonely and single preparations.

Concentrate the concept of the object you selected and practicing through ERP SAP.

As MM is a Vast Area. It cannot be Achieved in a Day or Two.

Please Go thru the saphelp and Keep reading SDN threads which will give you Chance to Learn MM in depth.

Please Go thru the Link Provided by Kunal. It will be Helpful for Beginners.

If you Search in SDN Forums, you will get more links on MM Material.

Since Everything cannot be achieved thru Reading theory. So please Practice well.
