Material Master

HI all,

When we create a material master thru MM01,we want to enter material type and industral sector at initial stage.My question is how to set the abbreviated values for those.. i.e. When i type "M" ,it comes as 'Mechanical Engg' & when i type "FERT" means 'Finished product'... Is it possible.. how it is..

Go to Material Master Initial Screen MM01 and Press Alt + F12 and Select Options and then Click on Experts Tab and in Control Tab Put Tick Mark against Show keys in all Dropdownlists & Sort Items by key

Go to SAP easy access menu press ALT: F12 select expert tab then tick show keys in all dropdown list.

Hi,

Goto OMS3 T.code and maintain entries there.

E.g Industry sector = R

Description = Retail and save it .

You can assign industry sector as default to user.

Goto OMT3U, Click on new entries enter user name and industry sector.
