Hi all,
I have to integrate BO with the SAP Portal and my doubt is that at the very beginning when I have to
copy the sapcrypto library in the SAP system and run the RZ10 transaction and configure the follwing
parameters:
ssf/name SAPSECULIB
ssf/ssfapi_lib Full path to sapcrypto lib
sec/libsapsecu Full path to sapcrypto lib
snc/gssapi_lib Full path to sapcrypto lib
snc/identity/as Your SAP system's DN
If the system has already these parameters and the values are not the same that stated in the manual,
should I overwrite the values or how should I proceed?
Thanks a lot
Hi Ingo,
correct if I am wrong, as I understand it, it is not necessary for the Portal integration. But if I want to
configure SSO between SAP and BO I need to do all of that, right?.
What I don't see well explained in the installation manual is the information regarding the SNC account,
in the manual it says is something like "CN=xx,OU=xx,O=xx,C=xx", but if it is this way, which is the
user I have to use to run the BO services?

Hi Juan,
to do SSO between Portal and BusinessObjects you don't necessary SNC.
- The BW system (lets say BI) and the portal need to trust each other
- the SAP Authentication in BOE needs to be configured (see : )
- The BW system needs to be configured to accept SSO tickets (RZ10 - profile parameters)
- the System landscape needs to be configured and a system needs to be created and the BusinessObjects Enterprise Server details need to be configured as properties

Hi Ingo,
I see now, then I think I have done everything.
- The BW system (lets say BI) and the portal need to trust each other. Done
- the SAP Authentication in BOE needs to be configured (see : ). Done
- The BW system needs to be configured to accept SSO tickets (RZ10 - profile parameters) Done
This point is about the two parameters right?
login/accept_sso2_ticket
login/create_sso2_ticket
- the System landscape needs to be configured and a system needs to be created and the BusinessObjects Enterprise Server details need to be configured as properties Done
So I don`t have to do all about importing the BO certificate in the SAP system and so on...
Hi,
no - you should be able to authenticate now with the SAP credentials to InfOView using the SAP authentication and SSO with the Portal should work as well.
important : all the machines needs to be in the same domain
The trust between the BOE server and the BI system is used when we using publications to burst out reports using the SAP security
