Material price changes frequently

Hi,

We have one requirement, in that the Material Price will be differing for every month or every week..If i maintain Info record for Vendor, I have to change every time? or is there any alternative way to do this changes!

Hi,

When you update the price using MEK2 for the basic price, it will get updated in the info record too. Not required to seperately maintain..

Dear,

As per my view, If you have maintain info record for material and vendor combination.

But material price is not come in purchase order.

Previous price of purchase order is come in new purchase order from EIPA table.

So please tick on info update in purchase order Material Data.

Due to this at the time of new purchase order creatin system take old price from EIPA.

what is the difference b/w maintain the material price in ME12 and MEK2?

If I maintain Info Record(Material Price), Is it possible to update price in MEK2? alos. Which price it(in PO) will take? and Is there any other way to display the material price in PO?

Hi,

It will be better if you can maintain a pricing conditon for the respective condition type with the material / Plant vendor combination,rather than updating it in the info record. Each time when there is a difference, you just need to update the condition record using MEK2.
