Archiving - SD objects

Hi all,

I am trying to perform the archiving for objects like SD_VFKK, SD_VTTK, RV_LIKP etc. I would like to delete all existing data. Do I need to maintain the 'Application-specific customizing' for each of these objects? I am uncertain of what each view/table field means.

In general, if we do not maintain this application-specific customizing, can the archiving still take place based on the variant/selection of the write program?

Please help!

Hello Claire,

If an archive object has Application-Specific customizing, this information must be configured in order for the write program to find data eligible for archiving. Also, for SD related data, the data must be business complete for it to be archived as well.
