Hi Friends,

In which Table, Purchase Order Text is stored for a Material?

I want Table Name-Field Name for Purchase Order Text of Material.

Also, if I want to make this field Purchase Order Text as mandatory at the time of Creating or Changing Material Master, then how it can be done in customizing or any other option available.

Long Texts are Stored in Tables STXH & STXL

You Can Create Transaction Variant for MM01 and Make the Field Required entry

All texts are stored in Table STXL/STXH .The PO Text ID is BEST,Text object is MATERIAL.

hi,

You can see the table name and field name ..via Pressing f1 function key....then go to technical description...it'll show you all this....

As i don't have PC show pls check whether its given here:

SPRO>MM> Purchasing > PO> Define screen layout --> Create PO --> See here...search for it...

pls check..

Hi,

All texts data are stored in table STXH and STXL, you will need to use function module Read_text to display the text, it will not be possible through SE16.

Object Name/id to be taken from the SAP script editor mode.
