Marketing Plan Approval Process

Hi,

We have a scenario, where in we have to get Marketing plan approved.

Whenever the status of Mplan is Planned (user status) , it should go to Approver ,so that he can approve the Marketing plan.and a mail should get triggered to notify the Planner about the Approval.

How do we achieve the same.

I was unable to assign action profile to Marketing Plan.

Kindly suggest..

Hi Sanjana,

It is not possible to assign an action profile to a marketing plan.But you can make use of a workflow.

as mentioned in ur scenario you can actually use a workflow to trigger the approval process when status is planned and then to inform the creator that plan has got approved.

To create a workflow for marketing plan you can take hints from standard campaign approval workflow WS10001004

Your requirement should be fullfilled by workflow . In our scenario we created a background jobs where system picks all the events based on pricing date and sends to approvals .

Appoval program checks the Territory management who are assigned as Account Plan Approvers , in the variant of the program we given the list of user id's for whom the email needs to go .

Hi Sanjana,

We can assign the Action profile in MKT planner in Easy acess.
