Time Dimension

Hello,

I am new to SAP BW, my company has decided to implement SAP BW. This question is related to Time dimension.

When creating info cube, when we navigate to time dimension and choose for info objects, only 0HalfYear1 is available as option.

Per the documentation 0CalendarYear and other options should be available.

Are we missing any set up. Please help

Hi,

go to "Edit InfoCube". In edit mode choose "All InfoObjects".

Then choose "Find" and search for e.g. 0CALYEAR. After that you should be able to import 0CALYEAR by drag&drop in your Cube dimension.

I am still not able to see 0CalendarDay in the drop down.

Hi Murali,

do you have tested my described way to edit the InfoCube. It should be no problem.

Here is a detailed description:

1. Right click your Cube choose "Change"

2. Select the button "All InfoObjects"

3. You should see now "Time Characteristics" folder

4. Open it

5. Choose you time characteristic and use drag&drop to put it into your Cube

if the source characteristics is 0CALDAY the Target Charcteristic would be 0HALFYEAR1
