system idel processs

Dear Team,

I am using ECC 6.0 on HP Unix with Oracle 10. Some time i seen via st06 my CPU uses 90% and Idel is 10%. Some time IDEL is 1%. Whats should be problem. ? what should I check regularly ?

Hi,

Check your process i.e. dialog work process is in running state or waiting state. SM50

Check any log running background process( possibliy Zreports)

And you can check

You can monitor using ST03N ,STAD.These are the important tools to monitor the performance.
