Transport Workflow

Hi,

I have to configure transport workflow into my system landscap. So how I can activate it or configure it.

Can your please provide step by step guide.

Thanks for your quick response. But I have already gone through this link and according to this I have already activated the transport workflow.

But how can I assigned the approver, transporter in the workflow.

And how to find which workflow will run for this activity.

Hi,

Go to SWDD. Workflow WS30000524 is responsible for transport workflow.

You can assign apporver and transporter here using agent assignment..

Thanks alpesh for your quick response.

Can you please tell how can assign the agent.

I want to configure the workflow in following manner.

Developer create transport proposal --> Approver approve that proposal --> This proposal go to transport who transport it --> After that status of transport sent to developer who create the proposal --> developer confirm it --> confirmation sent to transporter .

Can you give me steps to configure such workflow.

Hi,

Double click on each worklist, it will open the activity task of that worklist.

Now in the Task properties click Red button "Agent assignement for the task".

It will open Maintain agent assignement window.

Go to agentassignment --> Create.

Here you have decide how you have assigne the user. If your are in approver worklist and you have more then one approver then you have to create one role and assigne all the users who will work as a approver in the role. After that select that Role in agent assignment. This way all the users in that role will assign to that task.

If you want to assigne user manually then you can assign the users by selecting single users in the agent assignment.

This way assigne respective users and roles to every worklist and then activate the workflow.

Schedule background job with program RSWUWFML2

Create appropriate variant from se38. and schedule this job for every 5 min.

It will send the workflow messages to inbox.
