Gentlemen,

I wish to know about BO.What we are going to do in BO.

Is ita technology.

Whats' the difference between Crystal Reports Server 2008 and Crystal Reports 2008.

I know questions are kiddish but i wanna know the basics.

Plz do let me know.

Crystal Reports Server 2008 is the enterprise system from business objects to crystal reprots users which have all the components for the server side and client side application from Users panel like Infoview and Administrattion panel .

the Crystal Report 2008 is only the tool you use to develop those reports, and deploy it to the crystal reports server

from the crystal reports server users can access those reports and Administrators can control user creation and access rights for objects.

so Crysal Reports 2008 as a tool , is just for developers to develop the reports

but Crystal reports as an enterprise system is a full system giving the users the ability to run and export and extract the date from those reports

and Administrator controls those users and their access rights for the reports.
