Plz give the flow of warehouse management system and what is the definition of Quant?
Warehouse flow like it might start with delivery posting or inventory posting.
like for example for GR.
PO then Inbound delivery ref to PO ->Transfer order ref to inbound delivery-> confirm TO to move goods into warehouse.
Here delivery is posted first means warehouse activity is started first then Inventory posting.
Same you can do GR first then create Transfer requirement->Transfer order ref to TR-> finally confirm TO to complete process to move goods into Warehouse.
Quant: Content of storage bin or material contained in the storage bin is called Quant.
Quant depends on following factors
Plant
Storage location
Material no
Batch
Stock type
Special stock indicator.
While doing GR with WM, is there raise of TO?
How to create a TO?
Transfer order is the doc used in Warehouse to move material.
You can create Transfer order to material doc or Delivery.
