when copying number range from controlling area 0001 to my controlling area

Dear All,

when copying number range from controlling area 0001 to my controlling area, there is an error message comming "Controlling area 0001 and BAL have different elements".we are currently using 4.7EE Version, BAL is the name of my Controlling Area

Hi do as follows

Solution

1. Run Transaction OKC1 to check which business transactions must

exist. OKC1 shows these in a list.

2. Check Table TKA04 using Transaction SE16 (general table display).

Specify the controlling area. Compare the result here with the

result from step 1. If not all business transactions from step 1

exist for the controlling area, you must generate the missing

entries.

3. Call up Report RKTKA04C using Transaction SE38. Read the

documentation. The report creates the entries that are misiing.

Hi

If you go to tcode KANK and check click on the overview button you will see some elements under different groups. EX: Under the Planning group PAPL, RKP1 etc. This error comes due to the difference in your elements and the elements in the standard controlling area. Please check the list of elements again.
