Error in Rule type 'Read Master Data' of transformation

Hi all,

In BI7 transformation, I am getting error in rule type 'Read Master Data'

In my Infoprovider I have following infooblects.

0MAT_PLANT.

0PLANT.

0PUR_GROUP.

0PUR_GROUP is an attribute of 0MAT_PLANT. Assignment is as follows.

Source field Rule Type Target field

(1) MATNR Direct assignment 0MAT_PLANT

(2) WERKS Direct assignment 0PLANT

(3) MATNR Read Master Data 0PUR_GROUP

From attribute of 0MAT_PLANT

In (3) I have added 0MAT_PLANT as Infoobject assignment for source field. While checking (3) it gives me error "Characteristic 0PLANT compounded to 0MAT_PLANT is missing in transformation source"

Please let me know what am I missing in the transformation.

Hi Shilpa,

Include WEKRS also in source field and add 0PLANT as info object assignment for WEKRS, then check it.

Hello since 0mat_plant is a compounded object you need to assign both werks and matnr to it.

This will definately solve your problem.
