How to make display variant layout as default ?

Hi All,

I have created display variant for VA05 layout as per user requirement.

Now whenever I execute VA05, I want that display variant layout should get defaulted. Currently SAP default one is executing and everytime I have to select manually my own display variant layout.

Please suggest.

Hi,

you can set your layout as default.

Goto VA05, enter necessary info. press enter. system will give list of sales order

Goto settings, select layout and choose administration.

click on default setting for your layout ( you get right symbol for your layout) and save it.

Dear Swarup,

when u save the variant , there is a check box for 'Default setting ' at the bottom , if u tick , next time on words , layout will be defaulted with this variant.

this is a one time setting , if u have not done for your variant , then select the variant layout once and save again with the same name with default variant setting .

When you create the layout, before saving, you have to specify if the layout is only for your use, or global and/or default.

Are you talking about the selection screen?

During creation, I have not made it as default.

Now can I make it as default and if yes then how ?
