Hi,

What does mean by different output?

Check whether the version of mapping in all systems are same or not. It might be possible different systems have different version of same mapping.

Thanks

Well, Mapping version is same in all environments.

I am testing one mapping program in 2 enviroments, lets say DEV & QA by using same source XML message, but the outputs generated by this mapping program are not matching(i.e QA mapping program not generating some of the node in IDOC as DEV does, basically its SOAP to IDOC mapping).

I done this testing in Message mapping test Tab and Test configuration in Integration directory.

Thanks,

Jag

Hi,

>(i.e QA mapping program not generating some of the node in IDOC as DEV does, basically its SOAP to IDOC mapping).

Means you are not mapping those what ever u require in Idoc side.

Please check carefully in mapping itself, definately u will find it

Mapping version are not same in both the Environment.

Check your mapping in both the environment, take the source XML from quality and test your mapping in development box using test tool. check whether you are getting the same result or not. same mapping objects is not transported from Dev to Qua.

It is not possible that mapping version behave or depends on environment.

check you transported the latest active version to quality or not.

thanks

Thanks Guys.

I have found the root cause of this issue i.e even though mapping program is same in 2 environments, standard functions(i.e concat Text function) behaviour may change based on support package versions.

As i explained in previous posts

(QA mapping program not generating some of the node in IDOC as DEV does, basically its SOAP to IDOC mapping)

QA(PI7.0 SP15) and DEV(PI7.0 SP10) have different Java support package stacks, especially SAP_XITOOL component.

Untill PI7.0 SP10 concat standard function was working for Queue values but in next SP releases it wasn't working(SAP made it Value function i guess, no where its documented by SAP as far as i know).

So I am sending this issue to SAP.

Cheers,

Jag
