Steps to deploy .NET application onto Portal

I am looking for the steps to deploy .NET applications onto Portal.

Hello Prathima,

I have never worked on .net so dont know that what extension do u use to save .net Applicatio's

well any SCA's in portal are deployed through SDM

Other thing what u can do is.

Save ur aplication on ur desktop with .par extionsion and then u can deploy this par file on portal and can create Iview from this Deployed Par File.

Step's For Deolying PAR ON PORTAL.

1) First save ur .net Application with .Par Extension.

2) Log on to Portal Click on System Administrator > Support > Portal Runtime > Adminstration Console > here Browse your Par file and click on Upload

now Step's to create Iview from Par in portal.

1) Navigate to Content Admistration > Portal Content

2) Right Click Select New Iview and then Select

Portal component - create an iView from a portal component contained in a deployed portal archive (PAR) file

Click On Next

3)On other page select the par thta u have deployed and click Next.

4) Now give Name < ID and Prefix to ur Iview and u r done with ur .Net Application in portal .
