Hi,
I have 5 columns in report . Out of 5 column on column has long text so its grows more than one line.
When it grows more than one line then rest of the column's data should come in the verticle alignment of total height of that row
I need output as below
Col1 col2 col3 col4
-
fadfadfadfadfadfad
5 10 15 adfadfadfadfafadfadf
adfadfadfadfadfasdfa
-
is there anything in CR to set Verticle Alignment.
Thanks
Kalpesh

Hi Kalpesh,
For the field you want to span over multiple rows, Right click -> Format Field
Format Editor opens. On Common tab check option Can Grow. This will show data in multiple line when it grows more than one line.
For other fields, open Format editor.
In Horizontal Alignment select Centered from drop down list.
This will keep other fields in the center aligned.
Please let us know if your requirement is different from this.

Hi Kalpesh
Try the below steps, that might help you:
1. Open Section Expert ->Select Details Section.
2. Check the box for "Format with Multiple Columns". Checking this option would get you another tab "Layout"
3. Click on layout tab -> Select Across then Down.
4. You can also set the gap between details fields and format with multiple columns for groups.
If your requirement is different from this please let us know.
Hope this helps!!!!

Hi Kalpesh,
You can try out this.
Select all fields by pressing u2018Ctrlu2019 key.
Click on Format menu.
Then click on Align->Middles.
This would align the centre axis of all the fields.
So if we consider from the vertical alignment perspective, the smaller height fields (i.e. first 3 fields) will be exactly in the middle of the larger height field (field having multiple rows).
Hope this helps.

Hi,
This will work if you height is fixed.
My field is growing runtime.
its output is like as below right now
Column1 Columns2
fdsafadsasdfas 10
asfdsadfsadfasdf
asdfsadfsadfasdf
afdadsfasdfsadf
adsfasdfasdfads
But i want as
adfadfasdfasdfas
adfsadfasdfsadfa
afdasdfsadfasdfas 10
fadfasfdsadfasdff
adfadfadsfadfadfadad
columns1 is expanding runttime so column2 will be automatically should be center of column1
Any more idea
Thanks
Kalpesh
