Dropping table VBBE; regenerating VBBE

VBBE has millions of rows in a test environment. We want to safely rebuild it and/or drop the entries. Is there a way to do this? Is there some SAP program that does this? Should we bother?

You can use program SDRQCR21 for removing some of the unwanted/incorrect entries from stock requirements. However, if sales documents are deleted,the entry in VBBE for that particular document will not be cleared by this program and the option is to use an ABAP program for clearing those. I think the best thing is to let it remain as it is as you wont be facing any problems due to this.
