Problem with the prompt in Webi

Hi

I am facing the problem with the prompts of Derived table and universe Data Provider.

While creating a report with two DP, one is from main universe and other is from derived table and we need to apply prompts for both DP,it is repeating twice even when the prompt text and properties are same.

Suppose I am creating a report with a prompt "Start Date" and "End Date" coming from Universe DP and same prompt is repeating twice while refresing the report and it is not merging it.

This is working fine in deski report and showing only one prompt for each condition.

Please let me know any workaround on this.

I am using BOXI R2 with FixPack 2.5

Version is --- 11.5.8.1030

What is the BO version you are working on? The fix patch level?

There are certain version which had this problem. The problem can also arise if the datatype for both the fields is not identical.
